Superb evening at ‘The White House’
On Monday 7th March 2016 the Smile101 team host another CPD event for local dentists at the prestigious White House, Beaumont Estate in Old Windsor. Beaumont Estate pulled out all the stops with a fabulous buffet.
Our topic was ‘How Early Braces Can Help Your Patients Live Healthier Lives’
Dr Sheila Chauhan from Smile101 started with case presentations on ‘early orthodontic intervention’ & Niels Hulsink from Myofunctional Research Co. followed with an insightful presentation on effect of mouth breathing on dental development and use of Myobraces’
There was a fantastic turn out of local dentists and a great atmosphere.
Following the amazing feedback from the dentists, we believe they all left with valuable knowledge surrounding the awareness of problems starting early in children and the signs to look out for such as, mouth breathing habits, jaw growth problems & incorrect swallowing, which can all cause crooked teeth.
Early detection of these problems and immediate referral to Smile101 can see a big impact on growth development and health, these problems can be recognised in children from as young as 5 years old.
We also had the pleasure of Debbie from Colgate, John from Oroscoptic & Dale from Medimatch joining us with their stands.
We thank everyone for attending and we welcome referrals from all dentists & parents concerned about children’s dental development.
